(Lewiston). Eleven members of the Lewis-Clark State College Presidential Search committee met today to review the scope of work, timeline and job description for the current opening of president.

“This group has come together and demonstrated an ability to work cohesively in a very short time,” said Committee Chairman Don Soltman of Rathdrum. “We got a lot accomplished in a short period of time and I am encouraged by the energy and depth of understanding and commitment of each committee member.”

The committee is charged with reviewing job description for the presidential position and screening applicants. The committee will ultimately deliver a list of finalists to the State Board of Education.

No defined timeline has been set, but the work is expected to take roughly one year.

The committee will meet in mid-September in Lewiston.
