(Boise). Idaho State Board of Education President Richard Westerberg today announced that he has invited three of the five finalists for the position of President at Lewis-Clark State College to visit the school.

The invitees, in no ranked order, will tour the Lewis-Clark State College campuses in Lewiston and Coeur d'Alene over the next 4 weeks.

  • Dr. J. Tony Fernandez January 13-14, 2011
  • Dr. Stephen Condon January 26-27-28, 2011
  • Dr. Lynn Gillette February 2-3, 2011

Each candidate will have the opportunity to meet, interact and learn more about the Lewis-Clark State College operation, staff and surrounding community during the visits.

Other finalists may be invited to campus for visits in the future, at the discretion of the Board President.

The position of president at Lewis-Clark State College became available when Dr. Dene Thomas announced her resignation in March 2010 to take a similar position at Ft. Lewis College in Durango Colorado. Dr. Tony Fernandez has been the Interim President at LCSC since July 1, 2010.
