The working group will undertake a comprehensive review of state support for higher education, including but not limited to change in employee compensation (CEC), occupancy costs, enrollment workload adjustment (EWA), outcomes-based funding, line items, tuition, fees, and base funding. 

The working group includes representatives from each institution of higher education, the Idaho Senate and House of Representatives, the Governor’s office, the State Board of Education, the Office of the State Board of Education, the Division of Financial Management, the Legislative Services Office and a member of the business community. The deliverables will inform the State Board of Education’s budget request and the Governor’s recommendations for FY 2021 and the long-term, resulting in sustainable funding plans for higher education aligned with strategic priorities.
