NOTERegistered and Exempt Institutions listed above are in compliance with Title 33, Chapter 24, Idaho Code and have general authority to grant college degrees and offer courses for college credit inside Idaho.  The Idaho State Board of Education does not approve, sanction or accredit any specific program offering.  Students must personally verify with the school their Regional or National Accreditation and/or Programmatic Accreditation or Certification status of the specific program they wish to enroll in.  For any out-of-state school not listed here, you should verify their accreditation status with their Home State Educational Authority.

Notice of Restitution

Canyon College of Idaho, Inc. (“Canyon College”) is not an Idaho-registered proprietary school or postsecondary educational institution.  Canyon College’s proprietary school registration expired on June 30, 2013.  Canyon College was found to be operating in violation of the terms of its now-expired registration by purporting to grant degrees.  On June 25, 2013, the Idaho State Board of Education ordered Canyon College to immediately cease improperly awarding degrees in violation of Idaho Code Title 33, Chapter 27, and that Canyon College immediately desist from future violations of the statute.
