Idaho State Education Rules (IDAPA)

The Idaho Administrative Code is a compilation of all administrative rules currently in effect and fully enforceable. Education-related rules are organized under IDAPA 08.

Administrative rules are developed and updated through a structured rulemaking process that may include negotiated rulemaking, proposed rulemaking, and pending rule adoption. Each stage is published in the Administrative Bulletin for public review and legislative oversight.

The rulemaking process also provides opportunities for public comment and stakeholder engagement, allowing educators, institutions, and community members to provide feedback on proposed administrative rules before final adoption.
