Task Force for Improving Education
The Governor’s Task Force on Education identified literacy as a key foundational skill and recommended the state revisit state policy related to early reading. In June 2014, the Idaho Literacy Task Force gathered to review existing early literacy legislation, the Idaho Comprehensive Literacy Act, and create recommendations for revisions to submit to the State Board of Education.
