State of Idaho Scholarship Program

The goal of the State of Idaho Scholarship Program is to provide funding to help Idaho residents attend and complete college. Scholarships do not have to be repaid and can be used at any eligible Idaho college or university. Students who are eligible for Idaho Scholarships have a limited window each year to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. A variety of scholarships are offered with varying requirements. All students are encouraged to examine those requirements and apply at their earliest opportunity.

Next Steps Idaho

The Idaho State Board of Education has launched a new online resource, Next Steps Idaho (, aimed at students and parents of students exploring options for life after high school. Next Steps is an important part of the go-on equation for Idaho. It provides a wide range of clear, easy-to-digest information, all in one, easy-to-access place. The information is specific to Idaho and helps counter some of the obstacles Idaho students face when considering postsecondary college and career training.
